The Village of Arlington Heights is hosting a photography contest with the theme of Arlington Heights. So it probably has to be taken in Arlington Heights and present the city in a positive light.

The Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning is asking residents of Cook, DuPage, Will, Kane, McHenry, Lake, and Kendall counties to pull out their cameras and capture what they value about the region. They are looking for photographs in the following categories:

The Chicago Park District’s Nature Areas Program is hosting a photography contest of nature in Chicago to illustrate the natural beauty and biological diversity that exists within the city. They are looking for photos of native plants and animals (i.e. nature, not your garden). All photos must be taken within the city of Chicago. The Park District is looking for photographs in the following categories:
