We’ve been pretty busy the past few months and haven’t had a ton of time to dedicate to the Chicago Photobloggers community (so if you want to help us by being a writer on the site, let us know), but this came across our inbox the other day and we felt like sharing.

A Vivian Maier Book:
There’s a book coming out this fall featuring over 100 of her photographs. More information can be found at powerHouse Books and it looks like a pre-order is already available at Amazon

Another Vivian Maier Gallery Show:
If you missed the exhibition at the Chicago Cultural Center, which just ended this past Sunday, you have another chance to see Vivian’s photos. And even if you didn’t miss the exhibition, you can see her photos again. This time it’s at the Russell Bowman Art Advisory (this name sounds really strange, like it should have the words Moose Lodge at the end – Russell Bowman Art Advisory Moose Lodge – I like that better).

This exhibit will run from April 15 to June 18 – with the opening reception on the evening of April 15. You can only visit Thursday – Sunday from 10am – 5:30pm. It looks like they’re selling stuff too, but just go buy the book. More information can be found on the Russell Bowman Art Advisory Moose Lodge website.
