FAQ

What is a photoblog?
Photoblogs are a means of displaying your photos online in a blog style format. Instead of having a gallery, you post new photos to your photoblog on a regular basis. A photoblog can be located on your own domain or a blog service such as Blogger or Aminus3.

How can I join?
You must have a photoblog (note that a flickr account is not a photoblog) and live in and around the metro Chicago area including southern Wisconsin and northern Indiana. If you meet those simple requirements, send us an e-mail.

Do I have to own a camera to join?
Probably not, but it wouldn’t hurt. Mobile phones have a lot of nice features these days, but cameras feel a lot better in your hands when taking a photo, right?

What software should I use for my photoblog?
There are a lot of content management systems out there that work well for photoblogs. Pixelpost, Movable Type, WordPress, TextPattern, folderblog. The list could probably go on forever.
